This is probably a good reason why you should teach your kids how to drive a car or at least show them how to turn the ignition on or off.
A nine-year-old boy has driven his mum’s car off a busy highway in southern Ontario after she went into medical distress.GRIMSBY, Ontario
“On Saturday morning the 43-year-old Campbellville, Ont., woman was driving eastbound on the Queen Elizabeth Way highway near Grimsby when she lost consciousness.”
“The car accelerated, but the woman’s young son turned off the ignition and guided the vehicle to the shoulder of the road and into the ditch.”
The woman was taken to Hamilton General Hospital, unfortunately she died on Sunday afternoon.
