Google finally explains UFO doodles

Google has finally explained the reason for the “unexplained doodles” in their Google homepage.

It was all in memory of Herbert George Wells who would have been 143 years old on the 2oth of September.

H.G Wells was an English science fiction writer.

“Inspiration for innovation in technology and design can come from lots of places; we wanted to celebrate H.G. Wells as an author who encouraged fantastical thinking about what is possible, on this planet and beyond. And maybe have some fun while we were doing it.” Google post
