This horrible incident happened last weekend during the Belgium football league match between Anderlecht and Standard Liege.

Anderlecht’s Axel Witsel was given a well deserved red card after breaking the leg of Standard Liege’s defender Marcin Wasilewski.

In my opinion Axel knew exactly what he was doing and was very clear that he wanted to hurt Marcin. I reckon Axel deserves a live ban from the sport.
