Police are investigating the death of a young boy who was hit by a school bus in the state’s south west yesterday.Junee, Wednesday 16th September.

About 4.55pm a small school bus was routinely dropping off children in the Junee area. The driver let an 11-year-old boy off at a stop on Lysgar Street. It then appears that the boy was running beside the bus before falling under the vehicle.

Anyone who witnessed the collision who has not yet spoken to police is urged to contact Wagga Wagga Police via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
