Victoria Police issued 94 penalty notices in an 8 hour blitz targeting the Westgate Freeway, Bolte Bridge and the surrounding CityLink roads and CBD arterial roads.

The operation started at 3.00 pm and finished at 11.00 pm last night, some of the offences included speeding, using mobile phones, having unrestrained children in vehicles, 10  EPA notices were also issued to motorists.

Police also impounded one car after the driver was caught for doing burnouts and a learner driver was detected with a blood alcohol reading of 0.066%. He was also wanted over an aggravated burglary and a serious assault. Victoria Police
