The ACT Government wants to know what small and micro businesses have to say on issues they face locally, and hopefully issues the ACT Government can help to address. Report
The Canberra Small and Micro Business Forum is a new government initiative and will convene for the first time in September this year as part of Business in Focus Month,” Chief Minister and Minister for Business and Economic Development Jon Stanhope said today.
“We are not promising that we will be able to deal with every issue that comes up, but we are genuine about wanting to listen and identify systemic issues that the Government has a role in addressing.”
“The Canberra Small and Micro Business Forum will be facilitated by Ms Jenny Brockie, host of SBS Television’s Insight program. Ms Brockie is a skilled facilitator with a natural ability to draw out and get to the heart of issues,” Mr Stanhope said.
The inaugural Canberra Small and Micro Business Forum will be held at the Hotel Realm on 16 September 2009 from 4.30pm. Further details are available at Business ACT
