Man charged after assault on 16 year old hight school student

A 19 year man has been charged with the assault of a 16-year-old high school student in Sydney’s south earlier this month.
About 3pm on Tuesday, August 18, the student left the grounds of a high school in Jannali on a bicycle when he was allegedly knocked to the ground by a man. The high school student then received punches to the face and kicks to the body and was allegedly stomped on the head several times. His mobile phone was also stolen during the attack.
“He was taken to St George Hospital and treated for facial injuries, including lacerations and a fractured eye socket and nose. He also sustained bruising to the body.”
Sutherland Local Area Command Police yesterday charged the 19-year-old Sutherland man with aggravated robbery with wounding. He was granted bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court on Thursday September 17. NSW Police
