A 27-year-old Canberra woman was caught in possession of drugs whilst visiting the Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC) yesterday (August 13).

The Gordon woman was visiting an inmate when a drug detection dog at the visitor’s entrance to the facility alerted staff to her.

“A later search of the alleged offender’s home also located another four grams of amphetamine type substance.” Police report.

I wonder if the drugs were for her or someone she was visiting? either way that is just not a good move at all.
