If you thought some rituals were weird, scary and just a little too dangerous then try the Baby Tossing Ritual in India.

This ritual has been going for over 700 years and every year hundreds of infants are dropped more than 10 meters high from the roof of a mosque “western India” into bed sheets.

By catching the infants in bed sheets their families will have good health and prosperity.

That is a little too dangerous in my personal opinion, apparently not a single infant was injured this year.
