US Extreme Cuisine: Heart Attack Grill (Arizona) – a Shrine to Junk Food

Posted on July 30, 2009 by by jr

The Heart Attack Grill in Arizona is a shrine to Junk Food and offers a menu that they claim is “Taste Worth Dying For”.

After checking out their menu they are probably correct – offering only food that is definitely not for the health conscious. The menu is strictly high fat, high calorie, artery hardening and myocardial infarction inducing delights such as their trademark Bypass Burgers (available in single, double, triple or quadruple [900g of beef] varieties ) or their all you can eat Flatliner french fries cooked in real lard.

The restaurant is owned by a former nutritionist Dr. Jon who no longer believes in the concept of diets and that food should be fun. The waiting staff are all “nurses” and anyone finishing the Triple or Quadruple Bypass Burgers gets their nurse wheel them out (in a wheelchair) from their table to their vehicle  in the car park outside.

Like all progressive businesses they have embraced the web and can be found in multiple web and social media locations:

Oh and before I forget – anyone legitimately weighing in at over 160kg gets to eat for free!
