There was a  robbery in the ACT Legislative Assembly car park today (Friday, July 17, 2009) in which two males were assaulted and had cash and mobile phones stolen.

The two men were assaulted by a group of five males. An 18-year-old man  received a possible jaw fracture while another 18-year-old man from  received soft tissue issues to his face.

“Police had stopped and questioned five male youths as persons of interest for suspicious behaviour earlier in the evening and suspect the same group may have been involved in the aggravated robbery.” ACT Police
