Two Singaporean men, aged 27 and 38, were caught importing heroin into Australia concealed inside their shoes.

The men were stopped by Customs and Border Protection officers as they arrived at Sydney International Airport on a flight from Kuala Lumpur (25 July).

“An x-ray of the men’s shoes revealed anomalies in the base of both pairs. Presumptive testing indicated a positive result for heroin.”

Each man was concealing approximately 300 grams. AFP report
