Man falls out of Taxi in Sydney

A man has fallen out of the rear of a taxi at the intersection of Bestic Street General Holmes Drive. The incident happened on Saturday 16 May.

The man caught the taxi from the taxi rank at Bayswater Road, Potts Poinand but after having a discussion with the taxi driver over the fare the driver decided to return to the city. The taxi driver conducted an illegal u-turn and the man has fallen out of the rear of the taxi onto the roadway. The taxi then left the scene.

The man struck his head on the concrete kerb, rendering him unconscious and causing heavy bleeding.

Police are appealing for anyone who has information about this incident, or has knowledge of the taxi driver, to contact St George Police on 8566 7475 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 .
