Drunk learner caught ten times over limit – ACT

A 16-year-old ACT Learner driver allegedly recorded a BAC of 0.201; ten times over the legal limit for a learner driver. 31 July

ON friday 31st July, 4am police were conducting a traffic stop on Ginninderra Drive-Belconnen, when they pulled over a Nissan Navara utility carrying the 16-year-old male driver, and a 17-year-old male.

The 16-year-old driver was then taken to the Belconnen Police Station were he was breath tested and allegedly returned a positive reading

This comes a few days after the ACT Government launched a new initiative to highlight the consequences of speeding, drink-driving and reckless behaviour to young drivers. Real Decisions, Real Consequences

Unfortunately most kids just don’t get it.
