“The Minister for Police and Emergency Services, Simon Corbell, today announced that Gregor Manson has resigned as Emergency Services Commissioner effective from close of business today.” Friday 24th July release

“The Commissioner has been instrumental in reforming the Emergency Services Agency following the Government’s 2006 decision to bring it under the portfolio umbrella of the Department of Justice and Community Safety,” the Minister said.

Mr Manson said he is ready to pursue other opportunities.
