Bus driver assaulted in Canberra

Policing is seeking witnesses to an assault on an Action bus driver at the City bus interchange, yesterday (July 13).Canberra

A bus driver was punched three times after he asked three men not to board his bus at the City bus interchange. The three men had an argument with the bus driver over the price of a ticket when the incident happened.  All three men fled in the direction of Bunda Street.

The three men are described as being of Middle Eastern appearance and unshaven, with two of them aged in their mid to late teens and one aged in his mid 20s. The older man, who punched the bus driver, was further described as around 6’6” (198cms) tall, with a large build, a cut lip and was wearing a grey pullover, grey tracksuit pant and a red baseball cap. The other two younger men are described as around 5’8” (173cms) tall.
