There has been an armed robbery at the Ticketek outlet on Akuna Street in Civic, Canberra. (July 22).

“Around 1.20pm the man entered the premises and passed a note to the attendant, demanding money whilst threatening her that he had a gun.  He then fled the store after an amount of cash was passed to him.  The staff member did not see the gun, and was not injured during the incident.

“The man is described as about 20-30 years of age with brown hair and brown eyes.  He was wearing a dark coloured cap with writing on it, a dark coloured waterproof jacket with a light coloured shirt underneath and light coloured pants and was carrying a grey plastic shopping bag.”
