Posted on July 30, 2009 by by scoop

A 79-year-old Aubrey man was caught driving at 160km/h in a 100km zone in Victoria and has becoming Victoria’s oldest hoon. Australia

Rainbow Police Leading Senior Constable Tony Clark was left stunned when he saw a motorist zoom past him on Blue Ribbon Road, near Kalkee, about 1.25pm yesterday.

Police pulled the man over 23 kilometres after their first observation driving at 160km/h. His 1999 Mitsubishi Magna sedan will be seized under hoon law.

wow….its kinda funny that an old man will have his car taken away under the ‘hoon’ law…
but at the same time, how scary!!….to have someone whos reflexes are not as good as they once would have been, been behind a tonne of metal travelling that fast!
