Ecstasy Tablets seized near the Dog on the Tucker Box

A 68-year-old South Australian man has been arrested and charged late last night, following the alleged discovery of drugs and cash in his car.
At around 11:35pm “Thursday 25th June”, the Hume Highway Strategy Highway Patrol car stopped a Mercedes van on the Highway north of Gundagai near the Dog on the Tucker Box Complex for a random breath test.”
Police conducted a search of the van where they found almost a kilogram of ecstasy tablets as well as an amount of cash.
The 68-year-old South Australian man was then arrested and taken to Gundagai Police Station before being taken to Gundagai Hospital and later transferred to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital complaining of chest pains.
