A public information session on the multimillion dollar Belconnen Town Centre redevelopment will be held on Tuesday 12 May, Chief Minister Jon Stanhope said today.

The information session is open to all members of the public and will cover changes to the Westfield shopping centre, Belconnen Bus Interchange and temporary ACTION bus arrangements. Representatives from the Government and Westfield will be present to answer questions from the community. For more information view media realise.

And for all the Belco people,  from the 25 May the Belconnen Bus Interchange will be permanently closed and temporary bus stations with shelters and CCTV security will operate on Cameron Avenue and Lathlain Street.

A new permanent bus station will also operate on Cohen Street near the Belconnen Bus Depot.
