Apply for your ACT Arts Fund now

The ACT government is encouraging members of Canberra’s arts community to apply for the current round of ACT Arts funding that closes on Wednesday 27 May 2009.
The Categories receiving funds are: Project, Program, Community Arts, ACT Creative Arts Fellowships, the ACT Book of the Year and the ACT Poetry Prize.

Yes, I noticed an exercise in pointless media releases regarding this matter was published on the Chief Minister’s “Media Release” page at 25/05/09 25 May 6:44 PM last night

Anybody starting an application from scratch (assuming they actually saw this release or it was reported in mainstream media today) would have virtually no opportunity in completing an application by the deadline 5pm Wednesday: http://www.arts.act.gov.au/pages/page7.asp
