Garbage Truck hits pedestrian in Sydney

A pedestrian was seriously injured last night at the intersection of Campbell and Castlereagh Streets in Haymarket-Sydney.

The 32 year old woman was taken by ambulance to St Vincents Hospital suffering from suspected multiple fractures to her legs. The woman was injured after been hit by a garbage truck.

Police have spoken to the driver of the garbage truck and investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

    That does sound bad, I am not saying it was the drivers fault but around my street we get some crazy garbage truck drivers and I often wonder if they are going to hit a pedestrian soon. :-(
