Canberra Politicians Facebook Bashing

Canberra politicians are using the popular social network website Facebook but “they are doing it wrong”.
ACT Chief Minister Jon Stanhope has called on the Opposition “Canberra Liberal Party” to sack an adviser who posted offensive material on internet site Facebook about Government ministers and Greens politicians.
In one comment, Mr Chant said of newly elected Greens MLA Shane Rattenbury, who was the face of the party’s campaign, ”Do you think that Rat face Shane will be calling the shots in a coalition with Labor? CanberraTimes
So what are the policies about politicians using social networks? are there any policies about making comments of political parties if you are a politician? or will we see policies similar to what Telstra has implemented after one of their staff created the Fake Stephen Conroy’s twitter account?.

The rules that govern politicians are basically those of PR – “If I do this thing, how will it be spun on the front page of tomorrow’s newspaper?”
Until recently, some on the conservative side of politics thought muddying up someone who went to a strip club was a surefire way of killing his popularity. It backfired.
Politics is about polls. If the public like it or hate it, what is right or wrong will shift.
