The Department of Territory and Municipal Services (TAMS) is planning the refurbishment of public spaces at the Scullin Shopping Centre.

The Government is trying to find out social and cultural information they could use for the refurbishmen of the Scullin shops by organising a consultation day.

Amongst the issues to be considered are: improving the landscape, paths and plantings, public safety and security, measures to help people move more easily around the shops, options for traffic calming, parking time limits, vehicular circulation, improved lighting plan, new street furniture, and signage. Community artwork and water sensitive urban design measures will also be considered.
