Grab a bargain at the Baby & Kids Market – Saturday 28 March 2009
Posted on March 23, 2009 by by emd
The Baby & Kids Market is on again at Woden CIT Auditorium this Saturday 28 March 2009 from 9am til 12pm. It’s a great place to pick up bargain second-hand kids clothes, books, toys and more – plus check out the discounts on brand new goods from a few local businesses.
Entry is $3 for adults (kids free). Best to get there early if you want designer clothes or large items (prams, cots, high chairs etc). The crowds usually thin out a bit from 11am, making it easier to get around with a pram. Cate, the market organiser, also supports local charities through providing space for them to hand out their information. Last market, the Australian Breastfeeding Association were able to leave information in the baby feeding room, and Galilee had a stall where people could find out more about becoming a foster carer.

Great, I have two young kids and wouldn’t mind getting them a few things, I also have many friends with young kids so I’ll tell them about it as well.
Cheers
