Canberra and Region Heritage Festival 2009 will be on from 04 – 19 April 2009.
The Festival will be refreshed appealing to a broader audience by demonstrating that heritage is not just about old buildings. It’s retro, it’s vintage, it’s every decade past and into the future.
The theme for 2009 Festival is ‘Space’. What does space mean to you? Walter Burley Griffin said ‘Architecture is a space art.’ Heritage fills an important space by providing another dimension to our lives.

Maybe I should attempt to work in the GGD to this …
Would be nice if the fact sheets were offered in something other than (proprietary and hard-to-get-along-with) .doc format.

I would really like to go if I can. When is Easter though? I was kind of hoping to do the National Folk Festival for the first time ever.

Folk festival is on at Easter. We’ll miss it too, since we’ve decided to head to Newcastle with the offspring.
