Ada Lovelace Day
Posted on March 24, 2009 by by Loquacity
The 24th of March is Ada Lovelace Day. An international day of blogging to draw attention to women excelling in technology.
Women’s contributions often go unacknowledged, their innovations seldom mentioned, their faces rarely recognised. We want you to tell the world about these unsung heroines. Entrepreneurs, innovators, sysadmins, programmers, designers, games developers, hardware experts, tech journalists, tech consultants. The list of tech-related careers is endless.

You can read my Ada Lovelace day post here: http://lanabrindley.blogspot.com/2009/03/ada-lovelace-day-to-all-unknown-tech.html It is a tribute to all the unknown women in technology, and I invite you to recognise your female colleagues in the comments to the post.
