“The ACT Government is concerned about smoking in cars where children are present and a consultation paper explores options for protecting our children from exposure to ETS”, MsGallagher said.
The consultation paper, released on 2 January 2009, canvasses a number of options for managing smoking in motor vehicles when children are present.

Personally, I feel that any individual who smokes around kids are ignorant, especially if they have a child of their own and smoking outside the house does not help, the smell of a cigarettes stays within your clothes, which the child will ends up smelling anyway. Think of the child’s health, not your expensive meaningless habits.

I’m with Carol. I’ve never been a smoker, but the addiction must be pretty damn strong if you can’t give it up for your kids’ sake.

I’ve never been a smoker either, but last week my internet modem was playing up and I couldn’t use the internet for two days.
Do you have any idea how hard that was for me? on the day we went to my sister’s bday party and I had to use her PC to check out the W W W. Call me unsocial or whatever you want but hey that is my only drug.
I am sure there must be a help line for this type of addiction.

Nevertheless I used to be quite a heavy chain smoker (sorry for the tautology) and there is nothing worse than a reformed smoker.
