This article goes to the people that are spending there money on trainers that use kettlebells who are not adequately trained. These days any personal trainer can use kettlebells to train their costumers simply because it has a handle and they can copy exercises from youtube, don’t be fooled. Investing your money in a good trainer that is certified will give you incredible results mentally and physically. When looking for a kettlebell trainer make sure that he or she is a Certified kettlebell instructor with experience training people, and you will see incredible results.

I agree,
Ask the instructor for the KB certificate or google their profile.. if nothing comes up then move on and find someone else.

Even if they have a certificate it doesn’t mean they know what they are doing, I know some people that have their certificates and still don’t know the right techniques of the basic exercises and they still call themselves kettlebell trainers; they should do their homework first. Kettlebell training is not that simple and it could be dangerous if you do it wrong, takes time to master the basics, so if your trainer is being doing Kbs for about a year he is not ready teach yet, get someone with more experience; shake his hand and if you feel a crashing grip that could be the one.

I agree with scoop and el zorro, find a trainer with experience and you will see good results

Totally agree with all the above a good kettlebell trainer is hard to find considering certifications are given out to almost anyone these days, but then again those interested in being instructors have to start somewhere. El Zorro makes a good point, it is important for a trainer to master the basics before actually teaching clients, kettlebells can be dangerous if your not taught the correct technique.
If anyone is looking for a reputable instructor in Canberra you should get in contact with Zamar from Kore Fitness – http://www.korefitness.com.au His really experienced and great at what his does, also as far as I know his the only one holding regular kettlebell workshops in the ACT. I’ve had both one on one sessions with him and attended the beginner’s workshop last year and it was awesome.
