Action on Action Buses – Canberra
Posted on February 13, 2009 by by valerirojas
I used to drive to work everyday but the price of petrol and the lack of carparks in the Canberra metropolitan area made me change my mind and started catching the bus to work.
I used to catch the bus to school over 8yrs ago and never understood why the Canberra bus service was called “Action Buses”, I never thought I would find out about it until now.
My first encounter with some Action on Action was when a young school couple got on the bus and were kissing, giving each other massages on their heads and were also touching each other in many places.
My second encounter was when a young girl, unfortunately for me was sitting behind me on the bus and farted, her friend thought it was funny but disgusting. Me on the other hand wanted to vomit.
And only today a lady sitting in front of me decided it was time to cut her finger nails on the bus.
So I wonder are society values and respect for others going down the drain or am I been redicilous? I guess at the end of the working days it gives me something to look forward to, some action on action.

It would seem that society has lost its values over the years. Kids these days don’t know what respect is and unfortunately it seems that some adults don’t either.
Personally I’d rather skip the action on action but at least you can’t say that your bus trips are boring.
